Gilda Garza is a contemporary artist, primarily recognized for pop art. She has held exhibitions with sold-out showings at Art Basel in Miami. She has exhibited on the Las Vegas strip, and has since shown various collections in the Caesar’s Palace Hotel as well as the Hakkasan nightclub hosting parties with DJs such as Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki, and DJ Zedd.
Garza gained celebrity following and has painted some notable names at their request. She presented Snoop Dogg with his portrait on a private yacht party held in her honor. In 2017 she painted Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez, handing him the painting in person before his fight with Julio César Chávez Jr. In March 2018 Gilda presented DJ Zedd with his portrait before his performance for the 3rd anniversary of Omnia nightclub, Las Vegas. In 2017 Gilda painted a sculpture of a gigantic shoe in tribute to the Phoenix Suns NBA team, the piece was named Amor Sin Fronteras.
